倉敷芸術科学大学卒業。ギャラリー OF( 岡山 ) にて個展。当店のほか、gallery TOWED ( 東京 )、art gallery opaltimes ( 大阪 )、 atelier art space and shop M( 横浜 )、ARTAS GALLERY( 福岡 )、Art Galley Shirokane6c( 東京 )、Palette Art Space ( タイ )、アトリエ三月 ( 大阪 )、などでグループ展。媒体掲載に『イラストレーション NO.226』、Cut Tenor Even『不可能な A 子』(Cut Tenor Even) アートワーク。2020 年「ザ•チョイス」入選。
Graduated from Kurashiki University of Arts and Sciences. Solo exhibition at Gallery OF (Okayama). In addition to our gallery, she has joined group exhibitions at gallery TOWED (Tokyo), art gallery opaltimes (Osaka), atelier art space and shop M (Yokohama), ARTAS GALLERY (Fukuoka), Art Galley Shirokane6c (Tokyo), Palette Art Space (Thailand), and Atelier Mizuki (Osaka), etc. She appeared at magazine "Illustration NO.226".   • 主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

    石塚ちえは当初、いわゆるキャラクター絵画の枠組みで紹介してきた作家でしたが、ある時期以降キャラクター表現をほぼ完全に脱却し、ある種の「戦略的曖昧さ」を前面に出すようになった作家です。モチーフの極端な変形、リヒターを思わせる刷毛跡(だが全然フォトリアリズムではない)、複数の絵柄の混在と重なりなど。キャラクター絵画の枠を越え、具象絵画の新たな可能性を探るこの作家に、どうぞご注目いただけましたら幸いです。
    ISHIZUKA Chie was initially introduced as an artist within the framework of so-called "comic painting", but after a certain point she almost completely broke away from comical character expression and began to bring a kind of "strategic ambiguity" to the forefront. Her works include extreme deformations of motifs, brushstrokes reminiscent of Richter's (but not at all photorealistic), and the mixing and overlapping of multiple patterns. We hope you will take note of this artist who transcends the framework of character painting and explores new possibilities in figurative painting.

    グルファクシの鬣(たてがみ)のプリズムの焦熱でわたしの目は 白光蝿の餌食となってしまった


    わたしの緒がシナプスオレンジに発癌して

    それに相応しい痛みが眼球に目掛けて飛び込んでくる


    シナプスオレンジに覆われた 南峠の末端の砂浜に


    知らない言葉ばかりを綴られた本が打ち上げられていた

    右 上 下下 左 右 また上 と

    足の運びだけ私が読めるように改造されており


    わたしは 石綿 ( アスベスト ) に覆われた 大きな倉庫にたどり着いた

    そこの部屋には灰氷柱によって固められた 犬の骨と


    肉片の記憶だけを頼りに木々が人型に形を変えた 銅像たちが何かを隠すかのように連なっていた



    凹凸の激しい身体に沿うように 影は間違えたインクを垂らして時計の針は見えなくなっている


    その時 一寸の鈴の音が りん と一度だけ 啼いた

    忘れそうになるほど細い声で

    忘れられないほど澄んだ声だった

    あっ

    閃輝暗点を起こした 羅針盤が空中で奇声をあげて


    こっちへ来い 戻っておいでと 私の身体が

    浮き沈みを繰り返して

    周囲の音すら聞こえないというのに

    もうどこで鳴っているのかも分からない 鈴の音に

    「はい」と返した

  • Statment

    The scorching heat of the prisms in Gullfaxi's mane turned my eyes into prey for white light flies.

    My cords develop cancer in synapse orange,

    and a corresponding pain shot straight into my eyeballs.

    On the sandy beach at the end of south Pass, covered in synapse orange,

    a book filled with words I didn't know had washed up.

    Right, up, down, down, left, right, up again.

    Only the footsteps had been modified so that I could read them.

    I arrived at a large warehouse covered in asbestos.

    In the room dog bones solidified by ash icicles and

    the bronze statues which the trees transformed into human shapes relying only on the memory of a piece of meat were lined up as if hiding something.

    The shadows drip the wrong ink as if fit the contours of very uneven body and the clock hands are invisible.

    At that moment, a tiny bell rang out once.

    It was a voice so thin I could almost forget it.

    It was a voice so clear I'll never forget it.

    Ah

    The compass which has flash scotoma screams in the air

    "Come here, come back," my body says,

    rising and falling repeatedly.

    Even though I can't hear the sounds around me

    I don't even know where the bell is ringing from,

    but I replied "yes"
