1991年、京都生まれ。金沢美術工芸大学卒、京都在住。The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo(東京)、羊画廊(新潟)にて個展。「第7回トリエンナーレ豊橋」入選。グループ展に「山本冬彦推薦作家による新春日本画七人展」The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo(東京)、FEI ART MUSEUM YOKOHAMA(横浜)、ギャラリー北野(京都)など。
Born in Kyoto in 1991. He graduated from Kanazawa College of Art and lives in Kyoto. He has had solo exhibitions at The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo (Tokyo) and Hitsuji Gallery (Niigata). He was selected for the 7th Triennale Toyohashi. Group exhibitions include "New Year Japanese Painting Exhibition of Seven Artists Recommended by Fuyuhiko Yamamoto", The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo (Tokyo), FEI ART MUSEUM YOKOHAMA (Yokohama), Gallery Kitano (Kyoto), etc.

主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

淺野由大は現在は京都を拠点としていますが、金沢美術工芸大学を卒業した作家で、在学中には平等院鳳凰堂内の、西面扉絵の復元模写に携わったことも。そのせいかその作品には、どこか工芸的な趣があり、しばしば吉祥紋のようなモチーフが現れます。現代的なモチーフとこうした伝統的な感覚の共存は、どこかシュールな印象さえ感じさせます。どなた様もこの機会に是非ご高覧いただきたく存じます。
ASANO Yoshihiro is currently based in Kyoto, but he is a graduate of Kanazawa College of Art, where he was involved in the restoration and reproduction of the west-facing door paintings inside The Phoenix Hall of Byodoin in Uji. Perhaps because of this, his works have a certain craft-like quality, and auspicious motifs often appear. The coexistence of modern motifs and this traditional sensibility gives a somewhat surreal impression. We hope that everyone will take this opportunity to view his work.
