「不知火(しらぬい)」というのは九州の海で、9月の初め頃の深夜に出る蜃気楼のことだそうです。

実際に火をモチーフにしているかどうかは別として、そうした何か妖しい美しさのようなものを描ける作家を集めたグループ展で、今年でもう３回目の開催。どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。

Regardless of whether or not they actually use fire as a motif, this is the third year for this group exhibition, which brings together artists who are able to depict something like that mysterious beauty. Please take your time and enjoy.
