作家プロフィール｜Profile
東京都出身、2022年、愛知県立芸術大学卒。愛知県芸と名芸との合同展のほか、DESIGN FESTA GALLERY(東京)、ギャラリーカノン(東京)、当店でのグループ展などに出品。インプリマトゥーラ(有色の下塗りを施す個展技法)等を用いて、オタク的なキャラクターを描く。
Born in Tokyo, graduated from Aichi University of Arts in 2022. He has exhibited in group exhibitions at DESIGN FESTA GALLERY (Tokyo), Gallery Canon (Tokyo), and our store, in addition to joint exhibitions with Aichi Prefecture Gei and Masterpieces. He draws otaku-like characters using imprimatura (a solo exhibition technique in which a colored undercoat is applied).

主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery
- 宮崎まゆ子の作品は、古典的技法を用いながら、どこかアニメ風でもあると同時に、深い内面を感じさせるものとなっています。「失われたもの、もうここにないもの」をテーマに制作しているというこの作家が描く不定形なキャラクターたちは、現代社会のよるべなさ、息苦しさを、わたしたちに訴えかけているかのようです。当店では二年ぶりとなる個展、この機会に是非ご高覧ください。
MIYAZAKI Mayuko's works use classical techniques, but at the same time have a somewhat anime-like feel to them, and at the same time, they evoke a deep inner feeling. The amorphous characters drawn by this artist are based on the theme of "things that have been lost, things that are no longer here". They seems like appealing to us about the helplessness and suffocation of modern society. This is her first solo exhibition in two years, so please take this opportunity to take a look.
作家ステートメント｜Statment- 身体というものは自身の魂を入れる部屋のようなものです。 アニメや漫画では無邪気にデフォルメされた表現として、体は歪み、変形し、時には切断されます。 それはアニメや漫画を超えて、現実の私たちの体にも否応なく起こりえます。 歪む部屋の中で変わらぬものを持ち続けることは果たして可能でしょうか？ 可能だとして、それは意味のある行為でしょうか。
The body is like a room that houses your soul. In anime or manga, bodies are distorted, deformed, and sometimes mutilated as innocently deformed representations. This goes beyond anime and manga and can inevitably happen to our bodies in real life. Is it really possible to keep something unchanged in a distorted room? Even if it were possible, would it be meaningful?
