1989年、岩手生まれ。岩手県盛岡北高等学校卒。主にカンバスや板に油彩、紙にペンや水彩で制作。2024年より展示活動を開始。彩画堂S-SPACE（岩手）にて個展「この街での、いままで」、グループ展「ミニアチュールzero2024」、「軟画展」に参加。Cyg art gallery （岩手）にて「ABTT2024」、「東北ポートフォリオ展二〇二五」に参加。

  • 主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

    阿部潤は岩手在住の作家で、複数の絵柄で制作を続けている作家です。近年はエッシャー的な不思議なねじれを持つ具象画をよく制作していますが、当店ではこの作家の純粋抽象に惹かれるものがあり、そのシリーズでの制作をお願いしています。主に水彩を使った朴訥な味わいの抽象、どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください、
    ABE Jun is an artist living in Iwate, who continues to create works with multiple styles. In recent years, he has often produced figurative paintings with a mysterious twist, reminiscent of Escher, but we are attracted to his pure abstract works, and have asked him to create a series of works in this genre. These abstract works, mainly using watercolors, have a simple taste, so please take your time to enjoy them.

    作家ステートメント｜Statment

    私は普段、具象画（現実や超現実的なもの）も描くのですが、そういったものと向き合い過ぎると、現実の生々しさに疲れたり、イメージの意味に囚われたりてしまう事があります。そのような時に抽象画を描くことで、精神と感覚のバランスを取り戻すことができるのです。

    　私の抽象画は、色の理論とその時々のシンプルなルール（ある時は直線だけ使うなど）によって作られています（それは、私の最初期の抽象画のシリーズがマティスとモンドリアンの融合だったためでしょう）。

    　タイトルの:の左側がルールで、右側が名です。抽象画なので、タイトル（特に名）は完成したあとに便宜的につけている側面もありましたが、最近は名によって展開することもあると思っています。

    I usually paint figurative paintings (both realistic and surreal), but when I confront such things too much, I can become tired of the rawness of reality and become trapped by the meaning of the images. At times like these, painting abstract paintings helps me to regain balance between my mind and my senses.

    My abstract paintings are created based on color theory and simple rules of the time (sometimes just using straight lines, for example) (this is probably because my earliest abstract painting series was a fusion of Matisse and Mondrian).

    The left side of the : in the title is the rule, and the right side is the name. Because they are abstract paintings, I used to add titles (especially names) for convenience after they were completed, but recently I have thought that names can also be used to develop the work.
