当店ではご存知の通り、SUNABAギャラリーのオフィススペースを利用する形で、esコンテンポラリーという別ブランドを展開していますが、このたびSUNABAギャラリーの全館を使って、esでご紹介してきた作家の中から特に人気の高かった作家を選び、グループ展を開催することといたしました。いつもとちょっと雰囲気の違うSUNABAギャラリーの「es special」、どうぞお楽しみに。

As you may know, we operate a separate brand called es Contemporary, using the office space of SUNABA Gallery. This time, we have decided to use the entire SUNABA Gallery to hold a group exhibition featuring some of the most popular artists we have introduced at es. We hope you will enjoy SUNABA Gallery's "es special," which will have a slightly different atmosphere from usual.

1993年三重県生まれ。近畿大学文芸学部芸術学科卒業。Gallery narairo(奈良) にて個展。FUJITAYA B&B (京都) 、ギャラリー是空(三重) 、ギャラリー彩(愛知) 、大阪高島屋(大阪) 、GALLERY ESSE(北海道) などでグループ展。igu_m_art(大阪) にて日笠晃也との二人展。

Born in Mie Prefecture in 1993. Graduated from Kinki University, Faculty of Literature, Department of Art. Solo exhibition at Gallery narairo (Nara). Group exhibitions at FUJITAYA B&B (Kyoto), Gallery Zekuu (Mie), Gallery Sai (Aichi), Osaka Takashimaya (Osaka), GALLERY ESSE (Hokkaido), etc. Two-person exhibition with HIGASA Akiya at igu_m_art (Osaka).

寺西希実子
TERANISHI Kimiko

大阪市出身・在住。立命館大学文学部卒業。立命館大学大学院国際関係研究科修士課程修了。京都芸術大学(旧京都造形大)通信教育部写真コース中退。当店のほか、ギャラリーigu_m_art(大阪)、ギャラリー檜(東京)、Mango Art Company(台湾)などグループ展多数。2020年、当店にて個展。

Born and currently living in Osaka City. Graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Ritsumeikan University. Completed a Master's course at the Graduate School of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University. Dropped out of the photography course at the correspondence education department of Kyoto University of Arts (formerly Kyoto University of Art and Design). In addition to our gallery, she has participated in many group exhibitions at Gallery igu_m_art (Osaka), Gallery Hinoki (Tokyo), Mango Art Company (Taiwan), and others. In 2020, she held a solo exhibition at our gallery.

グラフィックデザイナーとして2023年より活動。主に音楽作品のデザインを数十点手がける。2024年より、ボールペンを用いた抽象画の制作を開始。一日(東京)、Oriental Force(東京)、 mod(東京)、esコンテンポラリー(大阪)にて個展。

He has been working as a graphic designer since 2023. He has mainly designed dozens of music pieces. In 2024, he began creating abstract paintings using ballpoint pens. He has held solo exhibitions at Ichinichi (Tokyo), Oriental Force (Tokyo), mod (Tokyo), and es Contemporary (Osaka).

西島勇希
NISHIJIMA Yuki

2024年、大阪芸術大学卒。当店のほか、ギャラリー住吉橋 (大阪)、京都蔦屋書店（京都)にて個展。THE blank GALLERY (東京)、JITSUZAISEI（大阪)、CHIGNITTA（大阪)、cafeBar O'hara (大阪)などでグループ展。SMBC信託銀行池袋支店にて「Art Branch NEXT 2023」に選出。UNKNOWN ASIA 2024（大阪）、AFAF 2025（福岡）。などアートフェア多数参加。

Graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 2024. In addition to our gallery, he has held solo exhibitions at Gallery Sumiyoshibashi (Osaka) and Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore (Kyoto). He has also held group exhibitions at THE blank GALLERY (Tokyo), JITSUZAISEI (Osaka), CHIGNITTA (Osaka), and cafeBar O'hara (Osaka). He was selected for "Art Branch NEXT 2023" by SMBC Trust Bank Ikebukuro Branch. He has also participated in numerous art fairs, including UNKNOWN ASIA 2024 (Osaka) and AFAF 2025 (Fukuoka).

Pomi

広島市生まれ。広島市立大学大学院芸術学研究科造形計画研究　修了。「松前美保」名義で国内外の展覧会や芸術祭に参加し、インスタレーション作品を発表。寺院仏具の企画職を経て、2019年より「Pomi」として活動を開始。記憶や想像を背景とした心象風景を描く。 2026年ザ・チョイス第237回入選。

Born in Hiroshima City. Graduated from Hiroshima City University's Graduate School of Art and Design, with a degree in Creative Planning. She has participated in exhibitions and art festivals both in Japan and abroad under the name "MATSUMAE Miho," presenting installation works. After working as a planner for Buddhist altar fittings at temples, she began working under the name "Pomi" in 2019. She paints imaginary landscapes set against a backdrop of memory and imagination. She was selected for the 237th The Choice Awards in 2026.
