2001年生まれ。武蔵野美術大学大学院造形研究科美術専攻油絵コース修了。シャトー小金井(東京)にて個展。converse TOKYO 渋谷宮下パーク店(東京)、銀座日動画廊(東京)、立川アートランド(東京)、ena美術ギャラリー(東京)、Sho＋1(東京)などでグループ展。アートフェア東京 19出品。
Born in 2001. Graduated from Musashino Art University Graduate School of Art and Design, majoring in oil painting. Solo exhibition at Chateau Koganei (Tokyo). Group exhibitions at Converse Tokyo Shibuya Miyashita Park (Tokyo), Ginza Nichido Gallery (Tokyo), Tachikawa Art Land (Tokyo), ena Art Gallery (Tokyo), Sho+1 (Tokyo), etc. Exhibited at Art Fair Tokyo 19.

  • 主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

    大塚澪音は戦後アメリカの抽象画で使われたステイニング(にじみ)の技法を使い、サテンにインクで具象を描く作家です。近年ではモチーフに古今東西の名画のモチーフを貪欲に取り込み、美術史を縦横に渉猟、混淆した、いわば美のシンクレティズムとでもいうべき独特の画風に到達しています。この機会に是非ご高覧いただければ幸いです。
    Otsuka Leon is an artist who paints figurative works in ink on satin using the staining technique used in postwar American abstract painting. In recent years, she has greedily incorporated motifs from famous paintings from around the world, past and present, and has reached a unique style that could be described as a syncretism of beauty, traversing and blending art history. We hope you will take this opportunity to view her works.

    作家ステートメント｜Statment

    　サテンの布にインクやペンを使用する技法で滲ませるように描いています。
    　テーマは一言で表すならば「あの頃の純粋な気持ちを忘れない」です。このごろは人を楽しませる絵、自分が描いていて楽しいと思えるような絵にすることを念頭において制作しています。それこそが自分と美術と世の中にとって最も重要なことだと考えているからです。自分が絵を描き始めた小さい頃、絵を見て感動した時に、どんな気持ちであったかを思い出すように描いています。

    I paint on satin cloth using a technique of ink and pen that makes the ink bleed.
    The theme can be summed up in one word: "Never forget the pure feelings of those days." Recently I have been creating pictures that entertain people, pictures that I find fun to paint, because I believe that this is the most important thing for me, for art, and for the world. I paint as if I am remembering the feelings I had when I was a child and first started drawing and was moved by a painting.
