作家プロフィール｜Profile
2008年、大阪夕陽丘学園高等学校卒。2022年、作品制作と展示活動を始める。以降、東京・大阪を中心に公募展で作品を発表。2023年、第3回銀座中央ギャラリー公募展 山本冬彦賞。当店のほか、ギャラリーくぼた（東京）、GALLERY龍屋（名古屋）、gallery_hydrangea（東京）、Gallery Blau Katze（大阪）、大丸梅田店(大阪)などでグループ展。
Graduated from Osaka Yuhigaoka Gakuen High School in 2008. In 2022, she will begin producing and exhibiting works. Since then, she has exhibited her works at public exhibitions mainly in Tokyo and Osaka. In 2023, she won the Yamamoto Fuyuhiko Prize at the 3rd Ginza Central Gallery Public Exhibition. In addition to our gallery, she has also held group exhibitions at Daimaru Umeda and other locations.

主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

稲田七恵をごく簡単に紹介すれば「やや写実的な女性像を描く作家」ということになるかと思います。ですが、最初ネット上で作品画像を見かけたときから、何か世の中に対して言いたいことのある作家なのだろうな、と思っていました。怒りなのか、諦めなのか、もっとほかの感情なのか。もしかすると作家自身も言葉にできないその何かを、この個展で見ることを楽しみにしています。
A very simple introduction to Inada Nanae would be that she is an artist who paints somewhat realistic images of women. However, when I first saw images of her works online, I felt that she must be an artist who has something to say to the world. Is it anger, resignation, or some other emotion? Perhaps it is something that the artist herself cannot put into words, and I look forward to seeing it at this solo exhibition.

作家ステートメント｜Statment

作品中の人物は、ひとりの人間としてではなく感情の器として存在し、私にとっての外部記憶装置です。この手に余る感情を自己と切りはなし保存するために、人物を通して心象風景をえがいています。
本展のため取材に訪れた海は、懐かしく、寂しく、おそろしく感じました。波打ち際に立ち尽くしながら、私は私の幸いをこの足で迎えにいかなければと強く思ったのです
The characters in my works exist not as individual people but as vessels of emotion, and are for me external memory devices. In order to separate myself from these overwhelming emotions and preserve them, I paint mental landscapes through the characters.
When I visited the sea to research this exhibition, I felt nostalgic, lonely, and frightened. Standing there on the shore, I strongly felt that I had to go and meet my happiness with these very feet.
