作家プロフィール｜Profile
1997年生まれ、東京都出身。学習院女子大学国際文化交流学部卒。2016年から活動を開始。銀座一兎庵（東京、モダンアートプロデュース）、Gallery ARK(東京) にて個展。当店のほか、東武百貨店池袋店(東京) 、銀座モダンアート、柴田悦子画廊などでグループ展。アートフェア ではWHATZ ART FAIR(台北)、アートフェア東京に出品。『美人画づくし 参』（芸術新聞社）、『美術の窓』2019年5月号に作品掲載。
Born in 1997, from Tokyo. She graduated from Gakushuin Women's University, Faculty of International Cultural Exchange. Since 2016 she has been exhibiting. She has solo exhibitions at Ginza Ittoan (Ginza modern art produce) and Gallery ARK (Tokyo). In addition to our gallery, she has held group exhibitions at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Ginza Modern Art, and Etsuko Shibata Gallery. At art fairs, she has exhibited at WHATZ ART FAIR (Taipei) and Art Fair Tokyo. Her work was published in the issue of "Bijinga Zukushi III" (Geijutsu Shimbun) and "Bijutsu no Mado"(May 2019).

どこの国の、いつの時代ともわからない、無国籍的な女性像を描く中島華映。一昨年の当店での個展では、国籍どころか地球の大気圏さえ離脱して、宇宙をコンセプトにした作品を見せてくれました。さて今回はどんな不思議な光景を見せてくれるでしょうか。注目の個展、どうかお見逃しなく。
NAKAJIMA Hanae paints stateless female figures, whose origins are unclear. In her solo exhibition at our gallery two years ago, she showed us works based on the concept of space, escaping not only nationality but even the atmosphere of the earth. What kind of mysterious scenes will she show us this time? Don't miss this much-anticipated solo exhibition.

作家ステートメント｜Statment

「石」は地球の歴史と共に長い年月をかけて形作られたものであり、手に入りやすく頑丈であることから、古くから人の生活道具として様々な形で活用されてきました。
その中でも特に、美しさと耐久性があり希少価値のあるものを私たちは「宝石」と呼びます。
その美しさは単に身を飾るだけでなく呪術的な意味が込められる場合や、その人の地位や出自を示すといった、その時代に生きる人々の暮らしを色濃く反映させる装身具としても重要な役割を担ってきました。
私が絵を描き始めた頃、無意識に惹かれていたのは帽子や冠、髪留めなどの頭飾りでした。時代や国によってそれぞれの特徴的な形が見られる頭飾りには、時には地位と華やかさを演出し、身につける人のもつ美しさを引き出す宝石が散りばめられることが多くあります。
光を受けて七色に煌めくその輝きは、今でも多くの人を引きつける神秘的な魔力があります。
そっと宝箱を開けたとき、光が踊るように煌めくその瞬間を作品に込めて描きました。
不変の石たちの物語をぜひお楽しみください。
Stones have been formed over a long period of time along with the history of the Earth. They are easy to obtain and durable, so they have been used in various ways as tools for people's daily lives since ancient times.
Among them, we call those that are particularly beautiful, durable, and valuable as "gems".
Their beauty is not just a way to decorate the body, but also plays an important role as accessories that strongly reflect the lives of people living in each era, such as those that have magical meanings or show a person's status or origin.
When I started drawing, I was unconsciously attracted to head ornaments such as hats, crowns, and hair clips. Head ornaments, which have their own distinctive shapes depending on the era and country, are often studded with gems that sometimes show status and splendor and bring out the beauty of the wearer.
The sparkle of these stones, which shine in seven colors when they receive light, has a mysterious magic that still attracts many people.
I painted these works to capture the moment when you gently open a treasure chest and the light sparkles like a dance.
I hope you enjoy the story of immutable stones.
