京都市立芸術大学在学中。個展に「言葉にならない言葉について」イロリムラ(大阪)。当店のほか、新宿眼科画廊(東京)、チャームプレミア京都烏丸六角(京都)、カフェギャラリーきのね(大阪)、ちいさいおうち(京都)、美術紫水ギャラリー(東京)、京都京セラ美術館(京都)などでグループ展。アルタスギャラリー(福岡)にて笹野ゆたかとの二人展。
Currently studying at Kyoto City University of Arts. Solo exhibition: "About words that cannot be put into words" Irorimura (Osaka). In addition to our gallery, she has held group exhibition Shinjuku Ophthalmology Gallery (Tokyo), Charm Premier Kyoto Karasuma Rokkaku (Kyoto), Cafe Gallery Kinone (Osaka), Chiisai Ouchi (Kyoto), Bijutsu Shisui Gallery (Tokyo), Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art (Kyoto), etc. Two-person exhibition with Yutaka Sasano at Altus Gallery (Fukuoka).

  • 主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery

    林美紅は、バーチャルなものとリアルなもの、その矛盾や重なり、相互浸透や相剋など、両者の複雑な関係を作品化してきた作家です。コンセプトはかなり明快なのですが、逆にその表現手法は毎回驚くほど変わるため、次にどんな作品が出てくるのかわかりません。そうしたスリルを含めてお楽しみいただけましたら幸いです。
    HAYASHI Miku is an artist whose works explore the complex relationship between the virtual and the real, such as their contradictions, overlapping, mutual penetration, and conflict. Her concept is quite clear, but her method of expression changes surprisingly every time, so you never know what kind of work she will come up with next. We hope you enjoy this thrilling experience.

    作家ステートメント｜Statment

    自身の育ってきた土壌であるインターネットやサブカルチャーを軸に、仮想との距離、他者との距離について考察する。ネットの複雑化と同期して複雑化する記憶や生きづらさ、曖昧になる生の実感などについて制作を行う。

    Focusing on the Internet and subcultures that I grew up in, I considers the distance from the virtual and the distance from others. I creates works about memories that become more complex as the Internet becomes more complex, the difficulty of living, and the vaguer feelings of life.
