1997年生まれ、東京都出身。学習院女子大学国際文化交流学部卒。2016年から活動を開始。銀座一兎庵（東京、モダンアートプロデュース）、Gallery ARK(東京) にて個展。当店のほか、東武百貨店池袋店(東京) 、銀座モダンアート、柴田悦子画廊などでグループ展。アートフェア ではWHATZ ART FAIR(台北)、アートフェア東京に出品。『美人画づくし 参』（芸術新聞社）、『美術の窓』2019年5月号に作品掲載。
Born in 1997, from Tokyo. She graduated from Gakushuin Women's University, Faculty of International Cultural Exchange. Since 2016 she has been exhibiting. She has solo exhibitions at Ginza Ittoan (Ginza modern art produce) and Gallery ARK (Tokyo). In addition to our gallery, she has held group exhibitions at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Ginza Modern Art, and Etsuko Shibata Gallery. At art fairs, she has exhibited at WHATZ ART FAIR (Taipei) and Art Fair Tokyo. Her work was published in the issue of "Bijinga Zukushi III" (Geijutsu Shimbun) and "Bijutsu no Mado"(May 2019).

主催者ごあいさつ｜From gallery
- いわゆる「美人画」というジャンルの絵画は、ともすれば「日本」というドメスティックな色合いを帯びがちです。がしかし、中島華映の作品には、不思議な文化的多様性が伺えます。そうしたある種の風通しの良さ、さまざまな文化が融合し合う不思議さに、当店では大きな魅力を感じています。アートフェア などで国境を越えて受容される中島の魅力、どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。
Paintings in the genre of so-called "beautiful paintings" tend to take on a domestic tinge of "Japan." However, the work of Nakajima Hanae shows a strange cultural diversity. This kind of openness and wonder of the fusion of various cultures is a great attraction of her. Please take your time and enjoy the charm of Nakajima, which is accepted across borders at art fairs and other events.
作家ステートメント｜Statment- 私にとって宇宙とは幼い頃から常にそばにあった夢であり、憧れである。 夜目を閉じると、いつも決まって瞼の裏に星が瞬く広大な宇宙が見えた。 塾帰りに見上げる夜空の月は私がいくら走ってもどこまでもついてきた。 初めて飛行機に乗ったとき、雲の上にも同じように空が広がっていることを知った。 一体どこまで行けばこの永遠に続くように思える空の果てへ辿り着くのだろうと、何度思ったことだろうか。 今でもふと空を見上げると、そのあまりの果てしなさに自分がこの宇宙においてとてつもなく小さな存在だということを改めて自覚する。 そんな小さな 私たち人間は今やロボットという存在に夢を託すことによって、少しずつ憧れへ近づきつつあるようにみえる。 この個展では私が幼い頃に思い描いた宇宙の夢を今一度想起し、ロボットのように未来への期待を衣裳に纏うようなイメージで制作した。
Space is a dream and aspiration that has always been by my side since I was a child for me. When I closed my eyes at night, I always saw a vast universe with twinkling stars behind my eyelids. The moon in the night sky I looked up at on my way home from cram school followed me wherever I ran. The first time I boarded an airplane, I learned that the sky above the clouds is the same. How many times have I wondered how far I have to go to reach the end of this seemingly endless sky? Even now, when I look up at the sky, I realize once again that I am an extremely small existence in this universe because of its endlessness. By entrusting our dreams to the existence of robots, it seems that we, such small human beings, are gradually approaching our dreams. In this solo exhibition, I once again recalled the dream of the universe that I envisioned when I was a child, and created an image that some girls wear costumes that expresses expectations for the future like a robot.
