私はどうも具象と抽象の間とか、見えるものと見えないものの間とか、そうした中間状態に興味があるようで、この作家に惹かれたのもそうした理由からでした。まだ在学中の作家ということもあり、これからどう変化していくかは未知数ですが、ともあれ若い作家の挑戦を、この展示で間近で感じてみたいと思っています。
I seem to be interested in the space between the figurative and the abstract, the area between the visible and the invisible, and these intermediate states, which is why I was drawn to this artist. As the artist is still a student, it's unknown how his work will develop from here, but I would like to experience the challenges of this young artist up close at this exhibition.
