ある男が、おそらくは鏡であろうものを見つめています。しかしそこに映る像は曖昧で、男とは服の色も身の丈も違っています。自分とは違う何かを映し出す不思議な鏡なのか、そもそも鏡ではなく誰か他の人物が立っているのか、それとも。
Koooheiは曖昧な必食で描くことで、こうした幅広い解釈を許容する、深みのある作品を描いてきた作家です。多摩美出身ですが驚いたことに今回が初の展示となります。どなた様もこの俊英の作品をお見逃しなきようお願いたします。
A man is gazing at what is probably a mirror. However, the image reflected there is ambiguous, and the color of his clothes and his height are different from the man's. Is it a mysterious mirror reflecting something different from himself, or is it not a mirror at all, but something else standing there?
Kooohei is an artist who has created deep works that allow for such a wide range of interpretations by painting with ambiguity. Although he is a graduate of Tama Art University, surprisingly, this is his first exhibition. I hope everyone does not miss these works by young talented artist.
