AOKI Kaoru is a rare artist in our gallery who paints completely straightforward figurative paintings. He is not influenced by subculture, and his paintings are realistic, with many of them depicting natural landscapes. However, there is a sense of a boundary between the real world and the invisible world. This is the first solo exhibition in the Kansai region by this artist who paints the nature of Amami Oshima with a solid artistic skill. Please do not miss this opportunity.
