ほとんど抽象画のようにさえ見える、後期印象派さながらの厚塗りの絵の具。けれどもじっと目を凝らすと、アニメ的なキャラクターが浮かび上がってくる。それが、げこるの作品です。これまで当店のグループ展では出品作全て完売。カイカイキキ(東京)でのグループ展や、美術史学者、平芳幸浩の著作装画など、活発な展示活動を展開してきたこの作家の、今回は関西での初個展。どうぞお楽しみに！
The thick paint, reminiscent of post-impressionism, almost looks like an abstract painting. However, if you look closely, an anime-like character emerges. That is Gekoru's work. Until now, all of her works exhibited at our group exhibitions have been sold out. This is the artist's first solo exhibition in the Kansai region, who has been active in exhibitions, including a group exhibition at Kaikai Kiki (Tokyo) and art historian Yukihiro HIRAYOSHI's book cover art.
