Sumisha is an artist who is more popular in the Chinese-speaking world than in Japan. Since her group exhibition in Taiwan in 2020, she has experienced art fairs in Taipei and Taichung, as well as two solo exhibitions in Taipei, and has gained high popularity. Her trademark is surprisingly large eyes of the caracters in her paintings. What is reflected in those eyes that are so big that they seem to jump over the category of "cute"?
