「不知火(しらぬい)」というのは九州の海で、9月の初め頃の深夜に出る不思議な火(実際には蜃気楼だそうですが)のことです。私も実際には見たことがないのですが、驚くほど明るい火のようです。 http://blog.livedoor.jp/ukiinfo/archives/1612136.html 実際に火をモチーフにしておられるかどうかは別として、そうした何か妖しく、不可解な美しさのようなものを描ける方にお声がけしてグループ展を組んでみました。当店にとっては新しい方が中心のグループ展となります。どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。

"Shiranui" is a mysterious fire (it seems to be a mirage) that comes out at midnight in the beginning of September in the sea of Kyushu.
