すうひゃん。の作品から私は、「何かが言いたい」という気持ちを、とても強く感じます。対象の外面ではなくその内面、感情、気持ち、人間としての「重み」のようなものを感じます。そうした彼女の制作の姿勢は幸いなことに高く評価され、昨年は熊本市現代美術館(熊本)でのグループ展や、博多阪急(福岡)でのアートフェアにつながりました。どうかこの機会に、この素晴らしい作家を多くの方に知っていただければと思っています。
From Soohyang's work, I feel very strongly something like a voice, "I want to say something". I feel something like the inside, feelings, hearts, and human "existential weight" of the subject, not human outside. Fortunately, her attitude toward production was highly evaluated, and last year she could join a group exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum Kumamoto (Kumamoto) and an art fair at Hakata Hankyu (Fukuoka). I hope that many people will know this wonderful artist at this opportunity.
