2021年は塚本にとって、まさに飛躍の年でした。当店からアートフェア「UNKNOWN ASIA 2021」(グランフロント大阪)へ出品したのをはじめ、東京、大阪、愛知で都合六つのグループ展に出品。テレビ朝日の番組「超人女子戦士 ガリベンガーV」の各種フリンジ企画へのイラスト提供、Baku Recordやzohryuといったエレクトロニカ系レーベルへのジャケットイラスト提供、オタク系ライター「にゃるら」の単行本(KADOKAWA)装画など、まさにマルチな活動が続きました。そうした華々しい活動の決算となる今回の個展は、2017年以来なんと５年ぶり。オタク的なキャラクター表現と、独特なマチエール感の共存は、スーパーフラットの次を行くもの。この貴重な機会に是非ご高覧ください。
2021 was a year of leap for TSUKAMOTO. She exhibited at the art fair "UNKNOWN ASIA 2021" (Grand Front Osaka) from our gallery, and also exhibited at six group exhibitions in Tokyo, Osaka and Aichi. Providing illustrations for various fringe projects of TV Asahi's program "Superhuman Women's Warrior Gullivenger V", providing jacket illustrations for electronica labels such as Baku Record and zohryu, and book design for otaku writer "Nyalra" from KADOKAWA. These were truely a multi-faceted activity. This solo exhibition is the first in five years since 2017. The coexistence of nerdy character expression and a unique matiere feeling is "post superflat" with no doubt. Please take a look this exhibition at this precious opportunity.
