抽象というと、何か理論的な背景があり、理論に忠実に沿って制作される、禁欲的な芸術だと思われがちです。ですが、近年の抽象作家の中には、そうした厳格な理論立てを持たず、自由でポップな作品を、色彩感覚豊かに制作している作家も少なくありません。本展ではそうした作家たちをセレクトしてご紹介するもの。どうぞ現代の自由で軽やかな抽象表現をお楽しみください。

Abstraction is often thought of as an austere art that has some theoretical background and is produced in line with theory. However, there are many abstract artists in recent years who do not have such a strict theory and produce free and pop works with a rich sense of color. In this exhibition, we will select and introduce such artists. Please enjoy the modern free and light abstract expression.
