mumeiは京都市立芸術大学で日本画を学び、当店の美少年系の展示の中心を担ってきた作家の一人です。美少年にもさまざまな趣のものがあり、優しい美青年や爽やかな青春の香りを持つ青年の美というものもありますが、その危うさ、毒のような部分において、mumeiの右に出るものはまずいないと感じています。
2021年には長野まゆみ『さくら、うるわし 左近の桜』の表紙装画を手がけるなど、ますます人気も高まるmumeiですが、当店では二回目の個展となる今回のタイトルは「幽微」。優美ではなく「幽微」と題したところに、この作家の真骨頂があると言えましょう。もう言葉は必要ありますまい。どうぞmumeiの美少年世界を、心ゆくまでご賞味ください。
Mumei is one of the artists who studied Japanese painting at Kyoto City University of Arts and has played a central role in our "exhibition of Bishonen". There are various kinds of Bishonen. For example, gentle young man, refreshing youth scent young man and so on. But in terms of the danger and poisonous part, there's no one can draw better than mumei.
Mumei is becoming more and more popular, such as working on the cover of NAGANO Mayumi's "Sakura, Uruwashi Sakon no Sakura" in 2021. This time, the title of her second solo show at our gallery is "Misty". Maybe she will reveal us the beauty of boys who are cloudy, foggy and vague. Please enjoy the world of Mumei's boys.
