すみれ糸星の作品と初めて出会ったのは、数年前の卒展でした。 周囲の学生が軒並みデジタル作品の出力を出品する中、 一人アナログ作品を組み合わせたインスタレーションを出品し、異彩を放っていました。
彩度の低いその画面に描かれるのは、人形と化した少女とクリノリンスカート、 もつれあう髪とレース、アラベスク模様の渦です。 そこにはゴシック＆ロリータの美意識の明確な継承が見て取れます。 ごゆっくりお楽しみください。
I first encountered SUMIRE Shisei's work at a graduation exhibition a few years ago. While the students around her exhibited the output of digital works across the board, she exhibited an installation that combined analog works by one person, which made her works stand out.
The desaturated surface depicts a girl who turned into a doll, a crinoline skirt, tangled hair and lace, and an arabesque vortex. There is a clear inheritance of Gothic & Lolita aesthetics. Please enjoy watching that.
